We got tired of waiting for Estes to release her book, Dangerous Old Woman, so we wrote up our own archetype of the Dangerous Wild Woman, as she is being experienced and lived by the women on our list who are in the formidible 50s. April 2007

By acclaim, we induct Molly Ivins as an honorary Wild Woman. A life well-lived, Molly.

WolfCon 11 was announced and will be held in New England.

The Star Mountain Art Gallery pages have been rebuilt and added to the "history section. Also on the History page ia s rescued copy of the Star Mountain map drawn by Sisterwolf in 1998, the Top 100 Women of the 20th Century, and the Honorary Wild Women voted on by our members in 1999-2001. There are three stories of WWWW herstory, and Willow's reminiscences, on the new Stories page.

Willow unveiled the website renovations, still a work in progress. She is especially proud of the expanded WolfCon pages, and of being able to recapture some of our history, by reinstating the Honorary Wild Women, Top 100 Womyn of the 20th Century, and some of our pack stories from years ago. Next up is a photo gallery for group members to use.

We have reopened Starlight Springs to new members, until we reach 25 at which time we will close again.

We are delighted that Nokomis has reworked the great t-shirt graphics made for us in 1997 by Irisa Moonwolf, and now available through our store on t-shirts, sweat shirts, mugs, and other kewl wolfie products!

Dreamseer has joined Nokomis and Willow as one of the Alpha3, and we are very lucky to have her. Taexalia has returned to her former post as an Alpha at Starlight Springs.

Our wait list, Starlight Springs, is currently closed to new members. We want to keep the wait between joining there and moving to the permanent home at Star Mountain shorter than it has been in the past. Unfortunately, the way to do that is to keep our wait list small.

Crystal, our founder and packmistress for 10+ years, has decided to lay down her duties and take a place at the fire. She has passed the packmistress responsibilities to Willow, a long time member and co-alpha since 2002. Thse are big wolf prints to walk in, and we wish Willow all the best in this adventure.
