Two-Spirit Wolf
Passed July 12, 2008, age 58
TwoSpirit arrived in the springs when I was an Alpha
there and on duty.
She and I e-mailed back and forth occasionally after she left the den to
research her new book, and I always hoped that she would return to us one
day - it is troubling to think that now her return will never come to
pass. She was wise and thoughtful and very down to earth, and although
she was rather quiet in the den, one always listened when she spoke. - Nokomis
TwoSpirit Wolf was only with us for a short time, but once a packmate, always a packmate. She kept in touch with several of our members,

and is remembered fondly. We were shocked and saddened to learn of her passing, and we send PMP to her family, and across the Veil to her.
Two-Spirit is the author of Heart on a Chain, The Forest of Life, and Return to Rockwell

Hi Sister Wolves, Your music has gotten more beautiful with each drummed out message I've read today. Sounds of flutes, guitars, a banjo or two, several harmonicas, violins and fiddles, piano keys, coronets and saxophones too, have perked my ears. There's more instruments of love flowing than I can sort out right now, but the pitch is perfect. All this music accompanied by your lovely written voices, resonate exactly what I knew I would find here. And we have dancers to add to the magic of this place, the Mountain, that I found only by happenstance, or was it? Born and raised in North Carolina, my paths have taken me across this great land and back. Currently, I'm living in Florida. However, inklings of Cherokee blood flow powerfully through the portals of my heart, and I feel pieces of my wolfish spirit await me in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where the past and present reach the Heavens. So it is there that I will return in the future. Semi-retired at 55, after my long and industrious healthcare career, I now use my active imagination to tap out stories. ( forestoflife.com ) I write lesbian romance novels. ( Fiction ) Gentle tales of love. I've been with my partner, Alice, for eleven years and much to my minister Father's chagrin, it's been more than just a phase I was going through. I was married for several years many moons ago, and I have a remarkable son, lovely daughter-in -law and a beautiful three year old grand-daughter. I am blessed. Having always been one to need a challenge to feel alive, I've skydived the Gulf, hot air ballooned the vineyards over Washington, splashed through the rapids of the Salmon River, motor-crossed the hills of Georgia, bungeed like a rag doll above The Florabama, and a few other things that shook the rocks and marbles in my head. I'm an eternal optimist and live on faith. Finally I've learned to listen to my intuition like a friend that walks with me. I believe there's good in all people. I believe animals have souls too. I respect and value plants and Mother Earth. And I believe in our Creator.
Last and certainly, not least, thank you my Sisters for calling me.. |
